The Rewards

Saving energy is its own reward – after all, the more resources we save, the better our planet is for future generations.

In honor of the 10th anniversary of the My Energy Kit Challenge, we're striving to make energy conservation even more rewarding. There will be 10 special rewards each semester for schools, teachers and families, as well as other rewards for participation in the program.

Schools who host our livestream presentation and participate in the My Energy Kit Challenge are eligible to win cash rewards.

Click each reward to learn how you can win.

Participating schools automatically receive $250 for every 100 unique* Energy Kit requests during the 2020-21 school year. When your school reaches 100 kit requests, you’ll earn $250. When you reach 200 kit requests, you’ll get another $250 – and onwards and upwards! Every participating school can earn the $250 rewards through the entire school year up until May 31, 2021, so we challenge every school to reach 100 Energy Kit requests.

Cash rewards are sent to the school in the form of a check.

*A family's request is defined as one request per household between July 1, 2020 and June 30, 2021. A family's request for the kit will only count once toward these rewards.

By signing up for a FREE Energy Kit, your family will be automatically entered into prize drawings for $100 each semester. These rewards will be drawn on “Family Fridays” each semester:

Monthly Drawings
Families can enter into eight monthly drawings from October 2020 – May 2021 for $250. A parent or guardian can enter by sharing the posts provided to them via email, after submitting their kit sign-up. One post enters that Facebook user into drawings throughout the school year, and the Facebook user is allowed a maximum of one post per month to count as an entry into the drawings. Drawings take place on the last Friday of each month.
